The S.O.s. Foundation

The SOS Foundation was founded to educate the outdoor world on global warming solutions to help save our ecosystems that support the sports we love. Decreasing emissions can save us all money while also saving the snow, rivers, wildflowers, and oceans we love for our children. The SOS Foundation travels the world presenting solutions to climate change that can make measurable differences for individuals, businesses, communities and governments, while also improving the bottom line. The SOS Foundation uses images and icons from action sports to help make a potentially dry topic more exciting while also being educational. We seek to connect people with the sports they love to help create an incentive for motivation to save our planets ecosystems.

The SOS Foundation has trained groups all over the world on a four step process for solutions to climate change - CROP™. Trainings and presentations include - Al Gore’s TCP staff, Smartwool, HEAD Austria and US, The State of Colorado, Poland’s Explorer’s festival, The Discovery Channel, GoLite, Outdoor Retailer Show, The Ski and Snowboard Show, New Belgium Brewery, Women’s Adventure Magazine, and more.

The Founder of SOS, Alison Gannett, was named one of Outside Magazine’s Green All-Stars, next to Leonardo Dicaprio, Willie Nelson, and Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Saving our Snow and water

for Future Generations

Our snow is the lifeline for the sports that we love, such as surfing, boating, biking, skiing and snowboarding.

Yet more importantly snow provides drinking water for half the planet.
